Many moons ago I got myself a UE Roll 2 which after 8 long years has eventually stopped working, joining all the other speakers in the sky.
Considering it’s something I use daily, I knew I couldn’t go long without one so I quickly started looking at what other options there are. When looking online I seen a lot of people lean more towards brands like JBL rather than Ultimate Ears but considering how happy I was with the UE Roll 2 and how long it lasted, I didn’t feel a change was needed.
Despite the above, I did want another model and the WONDERBOOM 4 was the model I landed on. The 360 sound and USB-C were two very big improvements for me, the latter of which is more about convenience but still a great upgrade. I do find the sound quality is significantly better compared to my UE Roll 2 but with how much newer it is, that should be expected.
If anyone is looking for a small, great sounding and decently priced speaker then I couldn’t recommend this one more.
