I’m happy to say I now own the PlayStation 5 Pro thanks to trade in offers reducing the price and making the console a much more reasonable price.
I had read that the console was smaller but I was actually quite surprised at how much skinnier it really is. Once you add the disk drive (annoying you need to purchase it but worth it) then it does add a bit of thickness yet still skinner compared to the original disc PS5.
Games wise I haven’t really noticed the difference as much YET, mainly due to the main game I’m play right now being WWE 2K25 which isn’t optimized for the Pro. My tv is also a bit of a bottleneck since it doesn’t have VRR so I can’t get the most out of the Pro. Despite this, the extra power of the Pro should help it consistently stay at 60fps which still helps IMO.
Once I’ve used the console a lot more I can probably share more thoughts on it but so far I have zero regrets.
