Public & Cargo Transportation for Cities: Skylines II
Another week and another great developer’s diary for Cities: Skylines II.
One thing that stood out to me was how each type of transportation required a depot, much like what mods did in CS1. This makes it much more realistic and I like how there’s skill trees you need to unlock now rather than it being just population milestones.
Honestly I was always bad with implementing public transport so in CS2 I’ll really need to design my suburbs with future upgrades like train lines in mind.
The other detail I really liked is the design of these assets. They look so much better than those in CS1 and so far, I feel like I could play vanilla CS2 and be perfectly content.
