My WWE Survivor Series 2023 Predictions
Here are my predictions for WWE Survivor Series 2023 which sadly only has 5 matches and no traditional 5v5 elimination match or NXT involvement.
Men’s War Games Match
There is so much you could speculate about this match, especially when it comes CM Punk showing up and Randy Orton trusting Jey. I personally find it hard to believe that Drew refuses to trust him but Randy, who has kayfabe been out for over a year due to the Uso’s will just happily team up with him. My wild guess would be that during the match Jey inadvertently hits Orton who then snaps, RKO’s him and just walks out of the match. Either that will cost the faces the match, or CM Punk will come out to join them.
My Pick: Judgement Day
Women’s War Games Match
Prior to watching SmackDown I honestly thought that Damage Control would be an easy pick to win this, but they were overdoing the whole “can they coexist” so now I’m thinking that Bayley will cost Damage Control the win. This will be enough reason for them to kick Bayley out and move their story forward but there is a good chance they still manage to win, despite miscommunication.
My Pick: Babyface Team
Women’s World Championship – Rhea Ripley vs Zoey Stark
Honestly although Rhea is an amazing talent, her title run is really boring. She doesn’t need the title (which I said last PLE too) and her reign just doesn’t seem exciting. It’s also predictable so I don’t see any chance of Zoey winning this.
My Pick: Rhea Ripley
Intercontinental Championship – Gunther vs The Miz
Gunther has had an amazing reign, I’d say even better than Roman’s since he actually defends it regularly and can win clean despite being a heel. With something like this, whoever beats him should be someone new and needs the rub, which Miz doesn’t as he’s already a made man.
My Pick: Gunther
Dragon Lee vs Santos Escobar
Carlito couldn’t really afford the loss and in all honestly, Dragon Lee maybe can’t either but I do think we’ll see new stable members for Santos which will interfere and help him win, also signaling the start of Dragon Lee in the LWO.
My Pick: Santos Escobar
