My WWE NXT No Mercy 2023 Predictions

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Tiffany Stratton – Extreme Rules Match for the Women’s Championship

I see this as being similar to what happened with Bron and Dolph, the former world champ on the main roster putting over the NXT talent to show just how good they are. At the same time, Becky has been very beneficial to ratings so we could see Jade Cargil maybe interfere to cost Becky the win and make her debut and help protect Becky in defeat. 

My Pick: Tiffany Stratton

Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov – NXT Championship

When these two last faced each other I thought Ilja would go over and I was wrong. There is a bit of a tease of tension between Trick and Melo which could play into it but my theory behind this will be explained further down under the Trick match. 

For this match, I can Dragunov finally beating Melo and getting that NXT World Title which he honestly does deserve. 

My Pick: Ilja Dragunov

Bron Breakker vs. Baron Corbin

Corbin has been pretty well protected so far in NXT and hasn’t lost as much as I thought he would. Bron is also a future world champ and likely one of the faces of the company. I can see both guys beating each other to hell and back but Bron managing to just barely come out on top. 

My Pick: Bron Breakker

Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Trick Williams – North American Championship

Now when it comes to who I’d actually like to see win, it’s Trick Williams without a doubt. When it comes to who I think it will be, I think it will be Dom. Melo and Trick have both insisted on doing things on their own rather than backing each other up so I think it will cost them both their matches, makes them realize they are always best together and both going to the main roster to join Lashley after this. 

My Pick: Dominik Mysterio

Noam Dar (c) vs. Butch – Heritage Cup

I won’t lie, this Heritage Cup stuff doesn’t really interest me. I’m not big on the match style and I’m not really invested in this, but I persoanlly don’t see Butch sticking around on NXT or Noam winning cleanly so it’s a pretty easy pick for me.  

My Pick: Noam Dar

The Family (Tony D & Stacks) (c) vs. Out the Mud vs. The Creed Brothers vs. Los Lotharios – Tag Team Championships

This match I’m very excited for and I’m really hoping it is a proper fatal 4 way tag and not two teams in the ring at each time. We got some really good teams in this match but I’m thinking with In The Mud being so new, they’re in the match just to eat the pin for Tony D and Stacks to retain.
