My (Probably Inaccurate) WWE Royal Rumble 2024 Predictions
Another PLE is finally upon us, and it’s been quite some time.
We finally have a PLE that feels like it has some big stakes, and although I’m not holding my breath when it comes to my expectations, I also hope for some surprises and to feel like we’re actually on the road to WrestleMania.
As usual, you can find my predictions below, which will hopefully be accurate.
WWE United States Championship: Logan Paul (c) Kevin Owens
You’ll find in the Triple H era that if you look at the future opponents they hint at, you can guess the outcomes of the match. I’d personally prefer KO to win, purely so SmackDown can have a full-time singles champion on the men’s side of the roster. In saying that, the LA Knight and Logan Paul feud has been teased before and likely a direction they want to go for Mania, so I see Logan cheating as usual to win.
My Pick: Logan Paul
Men’s Rumble Match
This one isn’t as easy to pick, and it’s a good thing as predictability is boring. Personally, I think if Cody were to win, then they’d risk fans turning on him for being over-pushed, so I would say the person who wins will likely be facing Seth. Since Punk returned, they’ve teased tension between Drew, Punk, and Seth, so I think that’s the direction they’re headed for Mania (especially since WM20 and WM30 had triple threats for the world titles). Ideally, I’d love to see Drew and Punk go over at the same time, both declared winners; they then go on to EC to determine the number one contender, which has a non-finish, so both men go to Mania to face Seth.
My Pick: CM Punk & Drew McIntyre
Women’s Rumble Match
This is similar to the US title match in that I can see a story path forward for a certain winner. Rhea will probably defend in the chamber at Elimination Chamber since it’s her home country, which means whoever is facing Iyo would need to find another way to qualify. Because of this, I see Bayley getting stabbed in the back during the rumble match and eliminated, which allows Becky to pick up the win and then face Rhea. Bianca is another good option, but I feel Mania is already too stacked, so that match could wait until next year.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship – Roman Reigns (c) vs Randy Orton vs AJ Styles vs LA Knight
I covered this match in a bit more detail in a previous post, but essentially I’d book the match like this. It’s the typical (boring) Roman match, but as the ref goes down and the interference happens, The Rock’s music hits, and he comes out to stop Jimmy and Solo from helping. This is enough to distract Roman, where he gets hit with an RKO, rolls out of the ring, and then Orton hits another one on LA Knight and gets the pin.
