There was a Pokemon presents today although I never get to watch live as they are usually released while I’m asleep.
I found quite a few things from the present that I’m interested in so thought I’d give a brief summary of each one I was interested in.
Pokemon Concierge
I watched the first season and considering I love Psyduck thanks to Misty and her one that couldn’t swim (despite being a water Pokemon…) so I’m excited to watch these new episodes.
I know the art style isn’t for everyone but I don’t think it should stop anyone from enjoying the show any less.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
This free update does look like something decent. Honestly after finishing the game and completing a Living Dex I haven’t played SV too much. I did briefly give it a try after I got my Switch 2 and was shocked at the performance difference.
There was suddenly so many Pokemon, so many that it actually made some things difficult. I was trying to do the sequence to catch Meloetta but there was so many Pokemon that I kept getting attacked before I could complete it. I’ll likely give it another try once this update drops.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A
I’m honestly mixed on this game. I REALLY enjoyed Legends Arceus, in fact it’s probably my all time favorite game due to the mechanics it introduced.
With Z-A, it looks more like a normal main series game than something that was set when Pokemon were still an unknown thing and mysterious. I’ll still get the game and I’m sure I’ll still enjoy it, I just feel it’s too far from the original game.
Pokemon Tales
This looks like a lot like Pokemon Concierge, just a simple series and could be fun to watch so I’ll give it a try.
Pokemon Sleep Update
Recently I was considering to stop playing Pokemon Sleep as it feels a bit too tedious, which Pokemon Pocket has just made worse with how much fresh content they add every month in comparison.
I’ll likely keep playing for a while to try out this new island and check out the new Pokemon but I feel my time with this game is almost done.
Overall it was a decent presents and I feel it gave quite a lot of info and even though there was no mention of Gen 10, that was pretty much expected.
