Cities Skylines 2 Traffic AI Feature

We got our second developers diary which has focused on Traffic AI and it looks very promising.

YouTuber Biffa has also done a great breakdown of the gameplay too which I enjoyed. So far CS2 looks like it’s a big upgrade over its predecessor.

One feature mentioned in the video is that Cims have their preferences on how they get to places, some may want to avoid tricky intersections just like in real life. They still want the shortest route but take accidents, cost of parking and many other factors into consideration.

Weather can effect driving too and Cims can crash which will allow for another level of realism when you have to deal with traffic jams due to an accident.

This video has continued to build my excitement for the game and I’m already looking forward to next weeks feature on public and cargo transportation.
